The Palette & The Parish: Arts & Culture Group
Welcome to The Palette & The Parish, our small group dedicated to exploring the rich artistic and cultural landscape of St. Petersburg and the wider Tampa Bay area. We believe that art, history, and beauty are gifts from God, reflecting the creativity inherent in the human spirit.
Join us as we step out of the church walls and into the galleries, studios, and cultural centers of our city to share, appreciate, and discuss the world around us through a lens of faith and fellowship.
We meet monthly for engaging outings and inspiring discussions. Our events are casual, social, and open to anyone in the church who shares a curiosity for culture—no art history degree required! St. Pete is full of great museums and local galleries – and we intend to visit them all!
On the agenda is meeting local artists, curators, or art historians for talks that will allow us to expand our collective cultural palette. This provides a unique opportunity to understand the creative process and support the vibrant artistic community right here in Pinellas County.
Our outings will always include time for fellowship over coffee, lunch, or appetizers, where we can discuss the works we’ve seen and how they connect with us personally.
