It’s the hap-happiest time of the year, or so the song goes. But not for everyone. For someone who has lost a loved one, the holidays can be a painful reminder of who is no longer around to receive their present. Those who dread family get-togethers because of broken relationships may find the holidays more than they want to deal with. And then there are some who, despite living in the Sunshine State, nevertheless suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder and are depressed when others are jolly, and they feel like misfits.

Why not come and experience his non-judgmental, always loving embrace at our Blue Christmas Service on Tuesday, December 20 at 7 p.m.? If you can’t make it in person, the service will also be live-streamed. We will light candles, sing songs and pray as we look toward the one true light, Christ, who shines in the midst of our darkness. He is our Emmanuel, God With Us, and he not only understands, he heals.
